Kyle Parker of Spencer, Indiana pleaded not guilty on March 29th, 2015 to the charges of murder, rape, child molesting, strangulation and more of a fifteen-month-old little girl, Shaylyn Ammerman. Parker was a friend of the child’s uncle and was in the grandmother’s home earlier that evening where Shaylyn was staying.

Parker allegedly confessed to the murder to a relative the same evening he was jailed. However, Parker pleaded not guilty to the charges to a judge the next day.

An autopsy was performed by Donna Stewart, who specializes in pediatric autopsies in Louisville, Kentucky. She said, “it was the worst case of sexual trauma” that she’d seen in her career.
